The Percussion Lady goes on tour! I would love to see you at

(ages 2 through 92). I'll be appearing at libraries in Arapahoe,
Grand, and Weld counties; Longmont; Littleton, and Denver.

Middle Eastern Drum and Dance Weekend
June 6 through
June 8, 2008
Souhail Kaspar, my doumbek (Middle Eastern drum) teacher,
renowned master percussionist and Grammy nominee, returns to the
Denver area from June 7 through June 8, 2008, for a
series of beginner through advanced drum workshops.
(Private lessons are also available on Friday, June 6,
2008.) The workshops take place at Paprika in Golden, CO.
A Middle Eastern "hafla" (drum and dance party) is also planned for
Saturday evening, June 7, at the Wild Sage Common House in Boulder,
CO.
